Water Colors

Today was our home school library group. I lined up a visitor, Jerry Lindsay, our local National Parks artist in resident to come and talk to our group about water color art.

He taught us how to make a sunset/sky and the idea  of using silhouette in ones paintings.

The children 7 and up enjoyed it. The younger ones painted for a little while and then went off to play in the children's area.

This inspired Milton to want to practice painting later this afternoon so we both sat down to practice our new learned skills. Here is a sampling of our art.

  1. This post just will not let me line up the pictures with their names. So frustrating!
